Description
Dahlia 'Bumble Rumble' is a pretty collarette dahlia that brings vibrant color and unique charm to any garden. This standout dahlia showcases outer petals in shades of pink with raspberry and purple veining, accented by a ring of shorter white petals that create a striking "collar" effect. At the center, a bright yellow disc attracts bees and other pollinators, making 'Bumble Rumble' a wonderful addition to pollinator-friendly gardens. The blooms measure approximately 3 to 4 inches in diameter and appear on plants that grow up to 40 inches tall. 'Bumble Rumble' blooms from July to November, providing a long season of stunning color. This variety thrives in full sun to partial shade and prefers well-drained, fertile soil. It's perfect for garden borders, containers, and cut flower arrangements, thanks to its striking appearance and long vase life. For optimal growth, plant tubers in spring after the danger of frost has passed, about 1 to 2 inches deep and 16 inches apart to allow for proper air circulation. Water regularly to keep the soil moist but not waterlogged, and deadhead spent flowers to encourage continuous blooming. In colder climates, it's recommended to dig up the tubers after the first frost and store them in a cool, dry place over winter. Dahlia 'Bumble Rumble' adds a touch of whimsy and vivid color to any garden, creating a focal point that delights gardeners and visitors alike.
